How to Unlock Mir 4 Bloodshade Nefariox Horn Mystery Quest

To unlock the Bloodshade Nefariox Horn mystery quest, you must complete the Madman's Trace request in Ginkgo Valley. Go to your request list and accept this request where you must find the Grotesque Statue.

Speak to Yu Gombo and accept his request. The Grotesque Statue can be found on a hill near Ginkgo Valley, you can see it on the map signaled by an interrogation mark. Climb the hill behind you, a few steps to the side, near the watchtower, and you'll immediately see the statue with an orange light as a signal. Pick it up to unlock the Bloodshade Nefariox Horn mystery quest.

Clue 1:

He seemed quite close to Ginkgo Village Guard Captain Damyoung. Maybe I should ask the captain

Follow the clue by going to Ginkgo Village and move to the purple marker on the bottom of the map. You'll want to talk with Damyoung.

Clue 2:

I need to talk to various people in Gingko Valley

Luckily, the people you need to talk to are close by. Talk to Jangpo to solve this clue.

Clue 3:

I need to talk to Painter Manho. They said he's near the Millenial Tree

That's on the top right area of the Gingko Valley map. Go there and near the lake climb a rock on the left side of the mountain to find Painter Manho. A cutscene ensues.

Clue 4:

If Painter Manho is telling the truth, there must be something about the waterfall right behind me!

Go and check the waterfall just like Nefariox did before.

Clue 5:

That tombstone right in front… What does it say?

You're now inside Warmonger's Cave. Defeat 30 Bloodshade Nefariox and go to the green light.

Clue 6:

Is this… a duel to determine the Nefariox Chief?

Your final trial will make you face a Bloodshade Warmonger Nefariox. The battle should be fairly easy as it is only level 16, and this ends the mystery quest.
