Honkai: Star Rail opens second closed beta sign-ups

HoYoverse has announced the beginning of the Honkai: Star Rail second closed beta sign-ups. The next game from the makers of Genshin Impact is generating a lot of hype, surely from the fact that the aforementioned anime RPG was – and remains – a resounding success, but also because Honkai Star Rail is a spin-off from the acclaimed Honkai series. Fans will surely connect this game to Honkai Impact 3rd, with popular characters and storylines being expanded upon.

Honkai: Star Rail marks the first time that HoYoverse attempts to create a turn-based RPG, a very popular genre that is sometimes also known as the hero collector RPG. However, instead of the traditional stage-based gameplay offered by most games of the ilk, Honkai: Star Rail is going full open world, showcasing the ambition of the China-based developer.

You can sign up for the second Honkai: Star Rail closed beta on the official website. Sign ups run until May 15, 2022 at 12:00 (UTC+8) and you can choose the platforms, PC, Android, or iOS, with your account being bound to the first one that you log in. There will be a wipe at the end of the closed beta, so don't get too attached to your progress and characters.
