Pirate101 launches in early October

KingsIsle Entertainment just announced the launch date for Pirate101, the free-to-play (sort of) family friendly MMORPG. The makers of the hugely successful Wizard101 have another potential hit in their hands, for what we’ve seen.

Players may expect Pirate101 in early October and those who wish to get a one week head start will have to fork $89,99 for the Boochbeard Bundle, which includes a 12 month membership and other bonuses such as a Parrot Mount and a closed beta key, or $59,99 for the Gandry Bundle (12 month membership, one week head start and Scarakeet Pet).
