While Warface seems to have plenty of qualities to convince free to play online shooter fans to drop by (the game's Western version is currently in closed beta), it seems that it isn't escaping the ever raging debate of overly sexualized female characters.
Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Joshua Howard, lead producer on Crytek's free-to-play shooter Warface, summed up the revealing cleavage and bare waists on female avatar skins as based on feedback from Russian and Chinese players, who are both enjoying a much more advanced version of Warface. Joshua also added that the Western design is based on Russian feedback and that it's way more restrained than what players actually asked for.
