Just as Trion Worlds announced a few days ago, the ArcheAge closed beta is set to begin on Thursday, July 17 (10:00 AM PDT) and runs until Monday, July 21 (10:00 AM PDT). You can still register at the official site for a chance to participate or take the shortcut and buy a founder's package, granting you access to the beta. The level cap for this first closed beta will be level 50.
ArcheAge is a very ambitious sandbox MMORPG that had a rough time in Korea, in part due to its business model, but Trion Worlds is bringing it as free-to-play to the West so things should look a bit more favorable right from the start.
