After so many years of waiting, Blade and Soul has finally launched in North America and Europe (sign up for free here). This highly anticipated martial arts MMORPG retained its previously announced free-to-play model (unlike, let's say, Black Desert Online and Albion Online) and thanks to its skilled art style, exciting combat and focus on a cinematic experience, managed to easily stand the test of time and remain one of the most exciting MMORPGs of 2016.
Blade & Soul has released in English, French, and German with four races and seven classes. Judging by the frequent updates in the Korean and Chinese versions, the western version should get a fair bit of extra content during 2016 and beyond.
Here is the official launch trailer. And here's the Blade & Soul musical in case you're in a mood for singing.
