No entry: Tree of Savior temporarily restricts access for new players

If this isn't a first, then it's pretty close. IMC Games has just announced that Tree of Savior is restricting access for new players, so this means that if you want to try the game right now, well… you can't. Current players still have the usual access to the game though.

So, what could have led to this decision? Apparently, IMC Games needs to fix some issues “regarding server stability, client-side lag and other service related problems”, so that the experience for current and future players improves. While it's not explicitly said, the bot spam is clearly one of the major complaints from players.

No date was announced for the restriction to be lifted, with the studio saying that it will make another announcement as soon as the issues have been resolved.
