Revelation is F2P in Russia, probably in NA and EU

While we know that Revelation is coming to North America and Europe straight from China thanks to My.com, publisher of Skyforge, the western business model still is under wraps. But according to a Q&A translated by fansite revelation-online.com, we know that the Russian version is going to be free-to-play.

What's so special about that, you good fellows from NA and EU ask? Well, if we dig a bit we can discover some interesting info for us. Let's begin by saying that Mail.Ru is the publisher of the Russian version, the one that is going to be free-to-play, if you're following. My.com, on the other hand, is the US and European subsidiary of Mail.Ru. So, it's easy to jump to the conclusion that the same company could go for the same business model in Russia, North America and Europe.

Sure, that didn't work out for Black Desert and Daum, but we could say that the timing of the releases was very different from the Revelation one, which is apparently entering beta in fall 2016 for the aforementioned regions. In the end, let's hope they don't go for the route of selling a game built around free-to-play with micro-transactions and gameplay mechanics as a buy-to-play game.

Oh, one more thing: apparently it's just Revelation, not Revelation Online, although the official English site seems to be a bit confused too, using both designations.
