ASTA: The War of Tears and Winds is shutting down on October 4, 2016 in North America and Europe, Webzen has announced. ASTA entered open beta in March and that makes it about six months that this Asian-themed MMORPG was open for western players. With the Korean server gone in August 2015 and the South American server being the only one currently live, it looks like ASTA will soon be nothing but a memory.
Webzen points the lack of a player base as the motive for the service end, but players who spent Wcoin during the last 30 days will be able to get refunds. If you love the game, then you'll get to enjoy it with 100% XP, 100% Fame, 100% Drop Rate and 100% Gold drop until it closes for good.
