It's not very often that we hear about games leaving Steam, but sometimes it happens, mostly because a game is shutting down. However, Crush Online's last day on Steam will be April 30, 2017, developer JoyImpact has revealed, but the game will still be available on the official website and the plan is to keep releasing updates for it.
This is not the end for Crush Online; the official statement mentions “a new project that will include all our learnings from the past and use the core concept of Crush Online”, and “jewels will be refunded in the new game (crush 2.0).”
We don't know if the new project will be set in the same universe as Crush Online, or if it will only use some of the mechanics with a mostly new game and different setting, but we'll have to wait and see.
