Stunlock Studios has just announced that the action MOBA Battlerite is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2018. The announcement doesn't go into much detail, with further details to be unveiled in the coming months. We do know, however, that Battlerite is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, meaning that players will be able to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 at no additional cost.
Considering that Stunlock Studios' plan is to relaunch the PC version of Battlerite for free later this year, it makes us wonder if the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions will also be free-to-play. It's highly likely, and maybe the aforementioned “additional cost” is referring to microtransactions only. Right now, Battlerite Lite, an early version of Battlerite free-to-play is available.
