Riot Games' Thunderdome is a 48-hour free-for-all hackathon, or translating it to common lingo, two days when Riot developers try to create a game outside of their comfort zone. It's a game jam, as you probably have already heard many times before, only from the developer of League of Legends.
One of the works to come out of this is Ziggs Arcade Blast. Starring the explosive (pun intended) character from League of Legends, this is a 2D platformer where you blast your way using the mouse to direct your bombs. Enemies and parts of the map, everything goes. There's even a boss fight at the end. Granted, the game is over in the time it takes for you to drink a soda or something, but remember it was created in less than 48 hours (3 hours alone were used for polishing).
This is an oddity that is very much recommended solely to fans of all things League of Legends, so if you want to give it a spin, you can download it here.
