The update that Stunlock Studios teased a few days ago for its free-to-play arena brawler is now live. Prehistoric Mania is a limited event that ends on December 12.
In Battlerite Prehistoric Mania, you can earn several Stone Age themed cosmetics. You have two weeks only to win stuff such as cool dinosaur mounts, six new legendary outfits, new weapons, poses and avatars. This event is open to everyone and you can get these Prehistoric chests by completing quests or purchasing them with in-game currency.
Battlerite went free-to-play on December 9, the date of the official launch, after a full year in Early Access. Judging by the huge player base boost, the game definitely benefited from the new business model.
