Trials of Mythron expansion announced for tactical card game Duelyst

Tactical card game Duelyst is about to get a new expansion later this month, named Trials of Mythron, Counterplay Games has announced. This is the sixth major expansion to this game, which is now published by Bandai Namco since July 2017.

The Trials of Mythron expansion will introduce two new mechanics as well as more than 100 new cards. One of the new mechanics is called Intensify Mechanic and boosts a card's power as it is repeated in play to the board. The other mechanic, Trial and Destiny, is related to cards which have Trials (a condition that must be met in order to play the card) and a Destiny effect, which will permanently augment the remainder of that game.
