It looks like the Defiance 2050 closed beta is going to be delayed for some time, at least for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players. PC players, on the other hand, should get ready to try this revamp of the Trion Worlds MMO shooter this weekend, April 20 until April 22.
Trion Worlds has announced the delay on Twitter:
The Defiance 2050 closed beta will run on PC this weekend (April 20 – 22). To best optimize the experience for all players, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are being moved to a later date. We'll communicate the updated console beta as soon as we can. See you this weekend!

The console beta is going to be announced later, but it shouldn't take too long. You can still sign up at the official Defiance 2050 website.
Defiance 2050 is a revamp of the original online game that was based on the sci-fi TV series. While the series is already canceled, the game still lives on.
