Moonlight Blade MMORPG is also getting its Battle Royale mode

Tencent's respectable wuxia MMORPG Moonlight Blade is jumping on the Battle Royale bandwagon, with this PvP mode already available in the test servers.

The success of PUBG and Fortnite led to millions of Battle Royale games and modes, most of them quick cash grabs that are bound to disappear as quickly as they appeared. However, traditional MMORPGs such as Moonlight Blade featuring a Battle Royale mode is somewhat unseen, so we're curious about how it will turn out. Eventually we'll get the following later this year: TERA Battle Royale, Blade & Soul Battle Royale, Guild Wars 2 Battle Royal and so on.

While there were rumors – or in fact, an official confirmation that is yet to see further developments – about an English release of Moonlight Blade, the fact is that we haven't heard anything for quite some time. For now, Moonlight Blade remains exclusive to Korea and China.
