Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a new physics-based Battle Royale game from the makers of Clustertruck and is a parody of the Battle Royale genre. As you may have guessed from the title, it's particularly riffing on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, frying pans included.
The best of all is that this parody actually manages to be a very fun game, mostly due to its crazy physics. It's more of a fun, lighthearted spoof on the now popular genre and it's free on Steam for the first 100 hours, which means that you still have a couple of days to grab the game and keep it forever.
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds was originally conceived as an April Fools' joke, but it earned a life of its own. It's a playable yet buggy game, but oddly enough this is the case where we can say that it's not a bug, it's a feature, due to the crazy influence of weird physics in the game.
I mean, just look at the trailer below, slow motion and all. It's pure poetry.
