Medieval Fantasy Combat game Blood Ancestors enters open alpha today

Fans of Overwatch, Paladins and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare are in for a treat with Blood Ancestors, a new medieval fantasy combat game that just happens to enter open alpha today on Steam.

Developed by Snowpeak Studio, a Spanish team, Blood Ancestors puts players in fast-paced first-person 5v5 battles, where melee combat is brutal and relentless. You can choose between 18 classes – divided in three factions and six characters archetypes – in the official launch version, but during Early Access you will only be able to get your hands on six of them. Not only that, you get to pick a specific build for your character focusing on three styles (offensive, defensive and utility) and there are over 150 skills to chose for your playstyle. Gameplay is objective-based, which means that you have some goals to focus on, such as fighting to secure a relic and unleashing an ultimate attack,

The open alpha begins today, with Early Access scheduled for mid-August 2018.
