Meridian 59, the first 3D graphical MMORPG, is coming to Steam

Sit down and pay attention, everyone. I'm going to tell you about the first 3D graphical MMORPG ever made, Meridian 59, and how this game was released to mild acclaim in 1996. Yes, many of you weren't even born by then.

Meridian 59 was developed by Archetype Interactive and while it failed to make an impression at the stores, it remained forever as the first 3D graphical MMORPG, years before the likes of EverQuest or Asheron's Call showed up to the party. Now, 22 years later, Meridian 59 is coming to Steam on August 28, 2018, and it will be free-to-play.
