QwertyStud.io is working on ReWorld, a modbox MMO set in a medieval fantasy world. The developers say that it was inspired by Ultima Online and Garry's mod. The twist is that you can mod this game as you wish, creating your own world, stories and rules. Then you can share it with other players.
ReWorld features a classless character system, a procedurally generated world, PvP, gathering, crafting and housing, with seasons affecting the availability of the ingredients. The idea is to have a player-driven economy.
If you squint, you can probably spot some of that Minecraft charm in ReWorld.
The game entered paid Early Access on December 23, 2018 and the official release will be free-to-play.
