Just as promised, the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online is now free-to-play. And no, I don't mean this promise, but the more recent one made by developer Sandbox Interactive.
Apparently, the mere announcement of the business model switch was enough to convince many new and returning Albion Online players. Being free-to-play, you can expect a nice boost during the first days, and possibly some queues as well.
The free-to-play launch also brought many changes to Albion Online that you can check in the patch notes.
