What would happen if Unreal Tournament and Portal fell in love? Splitgate: Arena Warfare is what happens. This competitive shooter seems to channel the best from both franchises and is running an open beta from May 3 through May 6.
Splitgate: Arena Warfare is built using the Unreal Engine 4 by a group of Halo fans, although I'd argue that it looks more like Unreal Tournament than Bungie's classic. It is going to release as a free-to-play game on May 22, 2019 and offers AI battles to improve your skills and multiplayer fragging with no classes and no perks.
