gamigo expands its Publishing Operations Team

gamigo is growing and announced that it is expanding its Publishing Operations Team. With the recent acquisition of Trion Worlds and its portfolio that includes ArcheAge, Trove, Rift and Defiance 2050, the German publisher clearly has a lot on its hands.

Andreas Weidenhaupt is now responsible for the global marketing operations and is joined by Beco Mulderij (Director of Marketing & PR), and Timothy Loftus (Head of Community Management).

“With Mulderij and Loftus, we have got two incredibly talented managers joining gamigo. After acquiring Trion Worlds and WildTangent, we took on a great responsibility to our stakeholders, investors and players alike. Our portfolio must be marketed as best as possible. With this expanded team, this is now guaranteed,” said Andreas Weidenhaupt, Senior Vice President of Publishing.”

Here's hoping that gamigo's growth will also mean that new free-to-play games will be developed or brought over from other regions.
