Now I’ve seen it all: there’s a KFC Dating Sim where you can date Colonel Sanders

Clearly aiming for the longest and most specific video game title ever, I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator is an upcoming game developed by the team at KFC.

Wait? Aren't those the chicken restaurant guys? What are they doing developing a game instead of feeding their customers? Apparently, “the world’s first Colonel Sanders dating simulator” is officially developed by KFC, but I'm not sure what that even means. Is this game being developed in the kitchen between a bucket of chicken or two? Are the restaurant employees working in quality control, making sure that both the game and the chicken wings have no bugs?

Looking at the Steam page, the developer of the KFC Dating Sim is called Psyop and has a couple of low-profile games already available. Maybe this will be its breakthrough?

I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator features nine characters as you make your way to convince Colonel Sanders that you're a great catch. There are rivals and even a professor dog, because… because it's a weird game. You'll enter cooking contests, battles, play around with miniature food, and maybe unlock a secret ending in this KFC Dating Sim.

You can start playing I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator starting September 24, 2019. Who knows, maybe we're going back to that age where product placement in video games was all the rage. Oh, wait, it wasn't!
