miHoYo has revealed today its plans for a Genshin Impact PAX East 2020 showcase. Its other acclaimed title Honkai Impact 3rd is also going to be available for attendees. Both games will be at booth #25035 in the Expo Hall.
The second Genshin Impact closed beta is taking place during Q1 2020. Those attending PAX East 2020 will be able to play it on PlayStation, PC and iOS platform at miHoYo’s booth # 25035 from February 27 to March 1. The PS4 version is also making an appearance at the PlayStation booth.
As for Honkai Impact 3rd, this action RPG has over 200 million downloads om mobile, while the PC version was released late 2019. The 3.7 update on PC is going to be available to play at the expo.
Genshin Impact is getting quite a lot of attention both from press and players. Far from its initial impact (pun not intended) where shallow comparisons to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild were commonplace, this is a vibrant and stunning open world anime action RPG. It brings a vast world to freely explore, a deep storyline to follow, and a combat system with elemental reactions.
The initial Genshin Impact closed beta revealed the first of seven world locations, Teyvat. The next beta is going to take travelers to the wonderful Liyue Harbor. Besides the PC, PS4, Android, and iOS platforms, Genshin Impact is also in development for Nintendo Switch.
Here's hoping that the Genshin Impact PAX East 2020 showcase is going to bring a reveal of the closed beta date.
