Combat Arms is a fast paced free-to-play MMOFPS and one of the most appreciated games of the genre. It’s a very simple game to pick up and play, everyone will be counting frags in no time. The setting is of the typical military warfare nature and there’s a nice realistic feel to the game maps and the weapons, including some recoil to make things feel more consistent and add a nice tactical depth.

Nexon regularly updates Combat Arms and reveals contests, giveaways and events to keep things fresh. There are quite a lot of guns and correspondent attachments to choose from, offering something for every player, and the game modes are standard but exciting fare. At the time of writing there is a very nice quantity of game modes available, most specifically 12 modes. Although most players will dive straightly into the Elimination mode (Team Deathmatch), there are other offers such as Spy Hunt and Fireteam.

Combat Arms is a great first-person shooter that stands the test of time. Although competition is brutal with games such as Project Blackout, Cross Fire, Mission Against Terror and Alliance of Valiant Arms, players can’t go wrong by choosing Combat Arms.
