LINE Games has announced that Royal Crown has entered Early Access worldwide for PC, Android, and iOS. Developed by Meerkat Games, the cross-platform Battle Royale game supports up to 60 players per match and offers solo and squad mode, with three players in each team.
The setting is medieval fantasy-themed, with cute anime graphics that clearly resemble those of the MMORPG Tree of Savior. This means that the characters are displayed from a top-down isometric view that gives you a closed view of the battlefield. You can choose from 15 characters, including magicians, archers, and assassins. The user interface is said to have been tailored for each platform, with a focus on enhancing the player experience.
Royal Crown includes RPG elements with a survival focus such as hunting and crafting. You have to fight monsters and search the environment for items that improve your character's abilities and gear.
LINE Games is the same publisher from the upcoming hero collecting RPG Exos Heroes. The Korean company is also lending a hand on Uncharted Waters Origin, the open world MMORPG follow-up to Uncharted Waters Online.
