Crucible System Requirements | Minimum and Recommended Specs

Amazon Game Studios' upcoming shooter Crucible is getting a lot of attention. The PvP game is being compared to Overwatch and Paragon left and right, with a hint of Gearbox's Battleborn thrown in for good measure. However, to us it deserves a more direct comparison with Yager's PvPvE shooter The Cycle, since both games share many elements. There's the wild planet ripe for exploration, the team of hunters (known as prospectors in The Cycle), and the need to lay waste on the planet's creatures to raise your level. The release date is May 20, 2020 on PC, so this is a good time to take a look at the Crucible system requirements and see if your rig is capable of handling all that action.

Crucible System Requirements | Can You Run Amazon's Crucible?

As you can see from the minimum and recommended system requirements below, Crucible isn't going to make you go running for a computer upgrade. The specs are reasonable and mostly commonplace nowadays, at least for someone who likes to use their PCs for more than using Word and working on spreadsheets.

Most gamers, even if they only play a few hours each week, should be able to run Crucible without any issues. Haven't played the game already, it is a good-looking shooter with a rich cast of characters and a bizarre and detailed sci-fi world, but visually it's not going to beat the likes of Destiny 2 or Overwatch.

Still, there are some enjoyable sights to see and huge creatures to blast, so make sure that you get the best settings out of your computer in order to balance performance and graphics.
