BattleCry is the first game from BattleCry Studios, a Bethesda studio and is a free-to-play third-person online action game offering 32-player battles. BattleCry features a distinct art style with highly stylized steampunk-ish elements directed by the acclaimed Viktor Antonov, of Half-Life 2 and Dishonored fame. In BattleCry, players will participate in a violent brawler with elaborate combo attacks and dynamic movement, including actions such as evading and grappling. An Adrenaline system unlocks special powers for a short time or can be used to unleash a lethal Ultimate ability when time is right. BattleCry is a team-based game where cooperation and skill is of utmost importance and the understanding of verticality is essential to take the upper hand on the WarZones.

BattleCry will launch with two factions, the Royal Marines and the Cossacks, with more to come. Your warrior will earn iron in battles and use it to advance through the ranks, unlocking new abilities and effects. Transformative weapons offer different approaches to the visceral combat, including swords that transform into shields, bows that can punch an arrow straight through an armored skull, or high powered blades to electrocute your foes, among others.
