League of Legends Wild Rift is the long-awaited port of the classic PC MOBA game to mobile devices and consoles. You will finally be able to play a polished and finetuned conversion that takes advantage of each platform's strengths in order to deliver the best experience possible.
The acclaimed 5v5 action and strategy mix of LoL will require your best skills and tactical expertise, but Wild Rift was developed from the ground up. You can expect a revamped map inspired by Summoner’s Rift from the original design on PC, but streamlined to better suit the need of faster games, especially on mobile devices. You should be able to ravage the enemy Nexus in matches that last between 15 and 20 minutes.
The 40 League of Legends Wild Rift champions that are coming at launch will provide enough variety to keep you experimenting new tactics. Besides, these are familiar faces that you probably already know and love, with more on the way as updates are released. Garen, Jinx, and Lux are just a few of the champions that are making the transition to Wild Rift Android, iOS, and consoles.
There are many skins with dozens of themes to customize your champion. Furthermore, a 3D model viewer enables a closer look at the changes brought with the new costumes. This is where Wild Rift gets its monetization, since all champions can be earned for free, with no option to pay for advantages such as power or playtime.
The League of Legends Wild Rift release date is planned for late 2020 on mobile, but the beta download should be available by mid-2020. The console release is going to launch sometime later, during 2021.
