Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts' battle royale Apex Legends is being enjoyed by millions of players worldwide. One of the very few shooters that has managed to give Fortnite Battle Royale a scare has been available for over a year, but not every gamer is able to play it. The lucky players who own a PC, PlayStation 4, or an Xbox One are the chosen ones, but Apex Legends is coming to more platforms, more specifically the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. EA has finally lifted the lid on the Apex Legends Nintendo Switch release date, so when can these players expect the shooter to launch?
Apex Legends Nintendo Switch Release Date
Electronic Arts gave us the first proper reveal of the Apex Legends Switch release date during the EA Play Live day. This was just one of the many announcements, and it was also confirmed that Apex Legends Switch cross-play support is planned. Furthermore, the battle royale game is finally coming to Steam later this year, something that has been rumored for a while and that is surely going to boost its player base.
The Apex Legends Nintendo Switch release date is the following:

Fall 2020 takes place between the end of September 2020 and December 21, 2020, so that's not too far away. That is all that the official tweet from EA revealed on June 19, but more info should be coming soon.
2020 is going to be a big year for Apex Legends, confirming that Respawn has an enduring plan for the game. Apart from the release on Steam and Nintendo Switch, an Apex Legends mobile version is also in development. The release date for the Android and iOS version is unknown, although official sources have mentioned their intention of releasing Apex Legends Mobile during the fiscal year of 2021, which goes from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.
