Welcome to 2021. We are looking forward to really nice things with the new year. A final Elyon – Ascent Infinite Realm release date, for example, is a good thing. The new game from Bluehole, the makers of TERA, now known as Krafton, has been in development for many years and the premature Kakao Games publishing deal for North America and Europe only makes things worse. A little bird has told us that 2021 will see the release of the steampunk MMORPG in a region or two, so let's start by seeing if your computer is up to scratch – what are the Elyon – Ascent Infinite Realm system requirements?

The first sightings of the Elyon system requirements were spotted in Korea and SEA territories. These served as the basis for the first closed beta tests, and apparently the game, which is also known as A:IR for short, has changed quite a bit since then.

If you don't find the requirements below to be overwhelming and consider them perfectly reasonable, you'd be right. Just like it happens with Lost Ark, Ascent: Infinite Realm is powered by Unreal Engine 3, so this explains it. However, the engine may be tweaked and improved in order to adjust to the devs vision of grand aerial battles, so you should at least hit the recommended specs.

Considering that the Ascent: Infinite Realm gameplay trailers were justly slammed for some agonizing frame rate drops, it's fair to say that it requires a decent configuration to run at a smooth pace. When dozens of players are flying their airships and engaging in hectic battles, it is bound to push your hardware to the limit, Unreal Engine 3 or not.
