Fans of anime RPGs are keeping a watchful eye on Genshin Impact, the new game from the makers of Honkai Impact 3rd. This beautiful open world game is in development for PC, PS4, Switch, Android, and iOS, so it should cover most gamers – sorry, Xbox One players, here's hoping that there's a surprise announcement in store before the end of the year. Those who are planning on taking a few trips to Teyvat should first consider checking their hard disk space, or storage space in the case of mobile devices. Genshin Impact Download Size and Install Size

Given the different platforms, the file size should vary somewhat. However, the sizes are bound to be fairly similar, considering the scope and content that you get to explore in Genshin Impact. The Android and iOS versions should be slightly lighter in comparison to other platforms due to texture quality and the like, but nothing major.

Genshin Impact started its course with a few closed beta tests, and we're going to use the final closed beta on PC as reference to begin with. When the Genshin Impact release date hits, we'll update this guide with official launch file sizes. Do note that before downloading the installation files, you may have to download a small executable.

Final closed beta PC (July 2020)

• Genshin Impact download size PC: 9.82 GB
• Genshin Impact install size PC: 11 GB

Official Launch (September 2020)

• Genshin Impact download size PC: 97 MB executable File / 260 MB pre–installation
• Genshin Impact full install size PC: 13.39 GB

When you launch the game, you may have to download additional updates or patches, which can slightly increase the overall file size. Since Genshin Impact is an online action RPG that is going to receive several updates during its lifespan, you can expect those figures to increase by a few GB after a year or two.
