Magic: Legends entered open beta on March 23, 2021 and many players urged to see what the new Cryptic Studios game was all about. Based on the popular Magic: The Gathering franchise, this action RPG goes for a hack and slash approach that many were quick to compare to Diablo, and they're not entirely wrong. However, the vast array of spells and the unpredictability of using your deck is one of the twists that you have to get used to. That and doing a lot of running, because the five starting planes are big and dangerous. Luckily, there are ways of teleporting to different points of the map, but how can you do it? That's what we're going to tell you in this Magic Legends fast travel guide.

How to Fast Travel in Magic Legends

Fast travel in Magic: Legends isn't as intuitive as you would initially think. While exploring the region, you'll come across these altars that you must activate for fast travel. That is the starting point of it all, but that isn't the issue.

Pressing “M” will show a transparent map that has the fast travel points marked on the map – the white diamond or rhombus shapes. However, there is no way of clicking them to fast travel, so what is the point?

The truth is that you must go through a more elaborate process to fast travel. You can do this by pressing “Tab” and going to the Map option at the top of the screen. Then you have to press on one of the illuminated fast travel points (the yellow ones) and press Fast Travel on the new windows that pops up.

There you have it, you are now in another location, having saved extra tear and wear of those boots. The whole process could have been made easier and saved us those additional clicks, but that's just how it works for now. Who knows if it won't be streamlined before the official launch?
