Unlocking the Mad Healer Pung's Trace Mystery Quest is a arduous task. You have to complete five Crystalline Forest Request missions in a row, three of them involving eliminating 300 enemies each. It's going to take a while, as you can see.

Your first call to action is to find a flower in Crystalline Forest. The Request mission is called A Flower Tinged with Moonlight – Find the Moonlight Flower. Auto-move to the location and find the many crystal piles nearby – you'll have to do a bit of climbing to reach the flower, as it is up there. See the image above to help you make sense of the location of the flower, then pick it up to complete the first Request.

Your second Crystalline Forest Request is called Bull Fiend Research 1 – Collect Bull Fiend's Mana (300). It's the first of four Requests from the same chain, all but one involving defeating hundreds of enemies. Auto-move and let auto-combat fight its way up to collecting 300 mana. Party up if possible for faster results.

Step three is the Request called Bull Fiend Research 2 – Clean Demon Bull Temple 2F (300). Once again, auto-move, let the fighting begin, sit back and relax.

When you're done, trigger the next Request, called Bull Fiend Research 3 – Find the Bizarre Statue. Move to Crystalline Forest, but this time there's a handy question mark in the map showing where you must go. Move to the area right above the question mark and climb a bit until you see the orange glow below. Grab the statue to complete the Request.

For the last part of this chain quest, your Request is called Bull Fiend Research 4 – Collect Torn Blue Fabric (300). You must go to [Elite] Demon Bull Temple 3F and slay hundreds of enemies, but not just any enemy: open the map and move to the yellow circle, that's where you'll find the loot that you need. There are tons of enemies, so it's quite dangerous, try to go in with a reliable teammate or two.

The hardest part is done, so let's begin with the Mad Healer Pung's Trace walkthrough. There are 10 clues to solve this time, so keep reading for the solution.

Clue 1:

I've heard that Jang Soye, the Mistress of Taphouse, is looking for Mad Healer Pung. What's her business with the healer? When I get to Bicheon Castle, I should stop by the Taphouse and talk to Jang Soye

Jang Soye isn't inside the Taphouse, she's right outside at the entrance near the portal. Talk to her to trigger this Mystery Quest.

Clue 2:

To hear Mistress Jang Soye's story, I have to go to Ginkgo Valley and find her employee, Soh Chuwol. Villagers of Ginkgo Valley may know about Soh Chuwol

Open the Ginkgo Valley map and go to the purple marker. Talk to Yu Gombo.

Clue 3:

Does Soh Chuwol believe that Herbalist Hong is Mad Healer Pung? That might be the reason the Mistress was reluctant to talk about Mad Healer Pung. As Yu Gombo said, I need to go east of Ginkgo Valley and find the hill with a post

That hill with a post is easy to spot. Turn around from Yu Gombo and look for the watchtower, then jump to that hill where the Assassin NPC is visibly standing. A fight begins and your victory ends this clue.

Clue 4:

That assassin must be a Demonic Cultist. Hard to believe that Mad Healer Pung is still alive… If the rumor is true, he will be a great threat to many people. Jang Soye must know more about this. I should go tell the news about Soh Chuwol and ask about Mad Healer Pung

Return to Bicheon Castle and talk to Jang Soye again, she's at the entrance to the Taphouse as usual.

Clue 5:

Jang Soye has a temper. Though she looks like she's rough with her staff, she does care about them. Well, to run a tavern as big as Taphouse, she'd have to be, eh? I should hurry to Recluse Valley and find Gosun

Automatically move to top right area of Recluse Valley (it's within Crystalline Forest), near the portal to the Training Cave. You'll find Gosun there and trigger a battle with him.

Clue 6:

That's what happened to the Mistress. I didn't intend on it, but I got involved in her personal matters. I hope Gosun has returned safely. I should go back to the Taphouse and talk to Jang Soye

Right as it says – return to Jang Soye at the entrance of the Taphouse and talk to her.

Clue 7:

Jang Soye has been looking for Mad Healer Pung for so long… If it's true that she's given up searching for him, I won't get any more information from her. My plan was to find Mad Healer Pung and stop him from doing anything bad. But I'm afraid I know nothing about him. I should go to the Taphouse and ask Gosun if he knows anything

Enter the Taphouse, climb the stairs and talk to Gosun.

Clue 8:

Mistress Jang Soye is going to face Hogun alone? It's too dangerous! Considering Hogun's skill and temper, I'm afraid she's way in over her head. I don't know when they're supposed to meet so I should get to Bicheon Valley 2F earlier and be ready. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to figure out the identity of Mad Healer Pung

Go to Bicheon Valley 2F, right to the middle of the map where the Darksteel mining site is. Climbing the stairs to the mining site should trigger this clue.

Clue 9:

The valley has unusually strong Demonic energy. Definitely not a place for a woman to face a former Demonic Cultist assassin all alone… Mistress Jang Soye can hold her own for sure, but it'll be hard to deal with the assassin by herself. Let's find the two of them and check out the area.

At the top of the stairs you'll enter a fight with Assassin Hogun.

Clue 10:

Herbalist Hong is not only a renowned healer but he's also a big-hearted man! I see once again why people respect him so much! The Mistress should be… I can get there by Air Walk. I hope all is well. I should hurry!

Still on top of the Darksteel mining site, look north and you'll see the name of Tavern Owner Jang Soye in a little cave. Air walk over there and talk to her to complete the adventure.
