How to Unlock Noah's Heart Useless Man Encounter

Clue 1 (Locked): When you reach level 66, you can go to the west of Cannan Mountains to get some Encounter clues.

Clue 3 (In Progress): The old man Lehr has been nibbling dry bread for a long time. He wants the delicious assorted soup. Time to show your cooking skills.

The Intelligence card for the Useless Man Encounter is the following: “When you reach level 66, you can go to the west of Cannan Mountains to get some Encounter clues.” As you can see, level 66 is the big requirement here, then all you have to do is go to the following coordinates where the old man Lehr stands: [-973, 1444]. The Encounter quest unlocks as you approach him.

Talk to Lehr – or Reil as the game now shows, contrary to the other descriptions – a couple of times, until he asks you for an Assorted Soup. Enter your Masterchef cookbook and select the Assorted Soup recipe, or go to Free Cooking and add the ingredients if you still don't have the info. The Assorted Soup recipe is the following: 1 egg, 2 cabbage, 3 radish, and 3 mushroom.

Go to a cooking table and make the soup, then return to Reil. The Useless Man Encounter ends right after, giving you 60 diamonds and the Chicken Salad recipe.

Completed: Pension is still not enough. The retired veteran Lehr will keep his “useless” guarding job, but your kindness did give Lehr some comfort.

First and foremost, you should explore the world and unlock as many teleport spots a.k.a. portals as you can. Talk to every NPC that you find and explore every town, small or big, that you discover.

Leveling up is crucial as well, because level requirements are extremely common when it comes to unlocking Noah's Heart Encounters. Never stop leveling up your character and Phantoms.

Finally, it's all about the story. Keep following the main campaign as much as possible, because some quest chains serve as conditions for Encounters. More often than not you'll stumble upon level barriers, requiring you to level up before the next part of the main story can be unlocked.
