With the recent announcement that Spellbreak is free-to-play for all platforms, many players are now wondering about when they can lay their hands on this game. Proletariat's ambitious AAA battle royale title is shaping up to make a name for itself, thanks to the impressive graphics and amazing spell combinations that pave the way for a new kind of action combat. The Spellbreak launch date is set for late 2020. Proletariat revealed as much when they shared the free-to-play business model with the world by mid-July 2020. No more details were announced, probably because Spellbreak's closed beta 2 was still running at the time and the devs still have a lot of work ahead.

Another thing that we don't know from the original announcement concerns the various platforms. Since Spellbreak is cross-platform, it is highly likely that a simultaneous release is planned, if nothing changes in the meantime. However, development sometimes stumbles – hopefully not – and a platform or two may see some sort of delay.
