Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond is the sequel to Mir4, a game where players were mainly focused on their pursuit for the precious purple-ish rocks called Darksteel. In Mir M the view might have changed, but the goal of collecting the biggest amount of Darksteel remains the same. The question that is in the minds of many players is where to mine Darksteel in Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond?

Long-time Mir players may have noticed that the regions in Mir4 and Mir M are mostly the same. You have Bicheon, Gingko Valley and more, areas that are a staple of the series right now. As you can expect, other areas are familiar as well, including the ones where you must grab your pickaxe and mine.

So, your first location to mine Darksteel in Mir M is in Bicheon Hidden Valley. Mir4 habitués will see that this area comes with four different floors, with the last one heralding the biggest rewards, a.k.a. the Relic and Epic Darksteel veins. The challenges are bigger as well, with stronger monsters and players who won’t hesitate to kill you off and steal your mining spot.

You can access the Bicheon Hidden Valley simply by progressing the main story. Around level 25 the path should be open for you to explore your mining skills in Bicheon Hidden Valley 1F.

Further along, there are other regions with abundant Darksteel and of the more precious kind, but also more dangerous as you are bound to find stronger clans here. Snake Pit Hidden Valley 1F to 4F and Phantasia Hidden Valley 1F to 4F are these other locations where you can venture as soon as the storyline takes you there.

Remember that Darksteel is crucial and very valuable in Mir M because this is the in-game currency that allows you to enhance some of your equipment, but also to trade Darksteel chests for DRONE, then for DOGMA, and finally to withdraw to Wemix and make a profit.
