Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is the surprising MMORPG inspired by the popular series created by Level-5. In a collaboration with Netmarble, the two studios created a mobile RPG with the charming look and whimsical characters that many players know and love, but now you can venture into this world with your friends.

A sci-fi twist serves as the background for this new adventure. You step into the shoes of a beta tester for a virtual reality game called Soul Divers. After some progress in the game, you realize that this alternate world is in fact real, and a mysterious woman named Rania has a mission for you. The virtual world is somehow connected to your real world and you must save them from destruction.

The five starting classes provide different approaches to the real-time hack-and-slash combat. You can choose from the Destroyer, Swordsman, Rogue, Engineer, and Witch, each one with unique abilities such as healing, buffs, and more. PvE gameplay in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds offers several challenges. There's the main storyline to follow, but also side-quests, various types of dungeons, world bosses, expeditions, kingdom defense, and more. As for PvP, there is no shortage of options including warrior battlegrounds, sky island battles, kingdom battles, relic battlefield, and familiar expeditions, among others.

In tune with the main series, there will be many familiars (Imajinn) to discover and use. You can find over 100 familiars of different types and personalities and take them into battle with you.

One of the most interesting social aspects in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is the kingdom. You can build and develop your kingdom alongside guild members and make it the central hub of your community. Customizing your kingdom is easy, appearance included, as you earn resources from activities such as exploration, battles, and requests.

Your ultimate goal is to become the capital city as you take on other kingdoms via player-versus-player throne battles. A capital city has the authority to determine the events that happen in the capital.

The Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds release date is set for May 25, 2022 in North America and Europe, with the Japanese launch coming before that.
