Bandai Namco has just revealed a new trailer for its upcoming online anime RPG Blue Protocol. This time the focus is on character creation.
The short video was shared on Twitter and while it won't set the gaming world on fire, it's a nice glimpse of this crucial tool. You get to change your character's height, thickness and chest size, this one for female characters only – because that's of utmost importance in any game, obviously. You have a couple of face types as well, but most of the customization options are yet to be shown.
Blue Protocol was recently revealed via an amazing trailer. Project Sky Blue is developing this PC RPG for Bandai Namco, currently penned for a Japan release only. It is developed on Unreal Engine 4 and the first closed alpha test runs from July 26 to July 28, with only 5,000 players residing in Japan being accepted.
A global launch is highly likely, but an announcement should take its time. As for the business model, it's yet to be disclosed, but Bandai Namco isn't a stranger to free-to-play games – Rise of Incarnates, Supernova and Duelyst are a few examples, with the upcoming Xbox One exclusive MMORPG Bless Unleashed being the latest one.
