CyberStep, publisher of anime MMORPG Onigiri has just announced that it is bringing the CosmicBreak sequel to North America, with a full release planned for December 10, 2015. This sequel will be titled Cosmic League and is a free-to-play online anime-style shooter with cute girls and big robots.
Pre-registration will be available at the official website starting today and the open beta test is planned for December 7, lasting only three days to test the servers. The game will then move on to full launch. There will be some pre-registration incentives, including “an exclusive hair color for one humanoid, free tickets for content only available in the Cash Shop and a starter pack with boost items, in-game money and key items.”
Cosmic League aka CosmicBreak 2 (if you're still not used to the new name) is a PC third person shooter where two teams of Cosmoloids (Humanoids and Robots) battle it out in 10v10 battles. You can choose between six classes with approaches that vary from melee combat, mid-range attacks or long-range blasts. The arenas are suited for land and sky movement and there are dynamic events such as a falling meteor that can drastically affect certain arenas.
You can also expect some deep customization that includes part coloring, three different leagues (Rookie League, Prime League and the Master League), an unlock system for you to discover more Cosmoloids and powerful parts gradually, and augmentations for the characters.
You can watch the new teaser trailer below, but if you want to know what the game really is about then you should watch our gameplay taken from the Japanese closed beta: Crimrose gameplay, Fiona gameplay and Lunastasia gameplay.
