After a short closed beta phase, Ubisoft today launched the Anno Online open beta. This free-to-play medieval city building game is part of the popular Anno series and was developed by Blue Byte, the same team that crafted The Settlers Online: Castle Empire.
The open beta will end all account wipes and all players that participated in the closed beta will get a bonus: a closed beta statue (a cute boat on a pedestal with the word “beta” on its sail). Those who register by May 21st will also get the golden ship.
