Before achieving huge success with SMITE, the Hi-Rez team had some critical acclaim with two shooters, Global Agenda and Tribes: Ascend, which sadly didn't translate into a sustainable revenue stream. However, the studio has already admitted that it is working on Global Agenda 2 since 2012, and the last we heard of it properly was on September 2014, when Hi-Rez Studios CEO Erez Goren said this game was more of a spiritual sequel (it could even be called Global Assault) and it's more of an objective-based 5v5 PvP game with E-sports support – almost sounds like a certain MOBA, right?
Anyway, the Smite Charity stream which you can see below shows this upcoming game, which looks like a multiplayer FPS with hi-tech weaponry, something that fits with what was previously said about Global Agenda 2. It all leads to this being the first glimpse of that game, and it's all very MOBA-like, but rest assured, SMITE will continue to be supported for a long time.
Watch the teaser below and let us know if you think this is actually Global Agenda 2.
