Stunlock Studios has announced that Battlerite Royale is going free-to-play on February 19, 2019. This will mark the exit of Steam Early Access and the official launch for the Battle Royale game that originated from the arena brawler Battlerite.
As a launch celebration, a huge Battlerite Royale content update will be released along with a simultaneous release of another update for Battlerite. News on these updates will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Battlerite Royale entered Early Access on September 2018 and while it managed to get some attention back then, it saw its player base declining lately, to the free-to-play launch comes at a perfect time.
