Until very recently, Pearl Abyss hasn't revealed much about the release of its revamped Shadow Arena battle royale game. This project arose from the ashes of the Black Desert Online game mode of the same name, until it was canceled out of the blue. Little did we know that the devs had plans to make a standalone game and now, the Shadow Arena Steam release has been announced.
Shadow Arena is about to begin its second round of testing. The beta is set to start in February 27, with pre-load available three days earlier, on February 24. The Shadow Arena beta test will take place on Steam, with 40 players fighting for supremacy in this action-packed fantasy arena fighter, exploring game modes including Solo, Team Battle, Practice Match, and Private Match.
The end of the beta is planned for March 8, 2020.
