After a few rounds of closed beta and plenty of changes following player feedback, the Bless Unleashed open beta is live on Xbox One, as previously teased. Bandai Namco is publishing the MMORPG developed by Round 8 Studio for Xbox One, and its coming with Xbox One X 4K and HDR enhancements.
The Bless Unleashed open beta runs from November 7 through November 21, with the official launch slated for early 2020 as a free-to-play game. This open beta is still intended to test the systems and server stability of the game, as well as gathering further feedback from the community.
Don't Miss: Ragnarok Crusade: Midgard Chronicles is the new Ragnarok PC MMORPG
Players who participate in the open beta will see the level cap raised to 30. If you return for the full launch in 2020, you'll earn the special title “Breaker of Games”, surely a nod to Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen, the Breaker of Chains. Besides, you'll also receive a 7-Day Valor Perk bonus that includes in-game currency and experience boosts.
Bless Unleashed is built on the Unreal Engine 4, contrary to its older and ill-fated sibling, Bless Online, which was powered by Unreal Engine 3. The developers say that this is a game with an open persistent world where player versus player combat can happen at any time, something that fans of ArcheAge and Aion are surely very familiar with.
Now that the Bless Unleashed open beta is live, you can see for yourself if the devs have learned their lesson after the flawed release of Bless Online. Hopefully, the backing of Bandai Namco was crucial for Round 8 Studio to find the right balance and realize its true and accomplished vision for this ambitious MMORPG.
