It feels like the action MMORPG Ember Sword is still a long way off from a playable build, but we can't help but feel like it could become something special.
It's not just the whole blockchain idea, where you get full ownership of your items to trade, sell, and offer in-game or outside the game, with some exclusive cosmetics being released in certain intervals; it's the look of the game, a cool, cartoonish, colorful style that looks like a mix between Diablo and Dofus.
The Ember Sword team at So Couch Studios has been working on buildings and flora for Solarwood, one of the four regions in the game. You can see the result in the four new screenshots below. Not bad, don't you think?
We have a lot more info on Ember Sword for you to check, alongside a brief glimpse at PvE combat, and a cool cinematic introducing the main character. There is no release date for Ember Sword yet, but we should have something to sink our teeth into during 2020.
