Bandai Namco has recently made the Blue Protocol closed beta date reveal, after postponing the previous date. Being planned for late March 2020, the Japanese studio decided to delay this testing phase due to the rampant Coronavirus, promising to reveal a new date soon. Just like it happened with the alpha test, the closed beta is exclusive to players living in Japan.
According to an announcement on the official website, the Blue Protocol closed beta is scheduled to run between April 23 and April 26, 2020. The chosen players will be revealed on March 30, while a friends invitation period (you can give a second code to a friend) will last until April 6.
When the closed beta ends, every player is going to receive a questionnaire where they can leave feedback on the closed beta. Judging by the changes based on player feedback from the alpha, Bandai Namco is taking this info very seriously.
While the Blue Protocol closed beta date reveal is always good news, the promised global release is still going to take a year or two, at best.
