If you became a fan of the Dauntless patcher, I'm sorry to break the news to you: as soon as the monster hunter co-op action RPG migrates its accounts to the Epic Games store, where the PC version will be exclusively available, the original launcher will be retired.
This is the first step in the cross-play Dauntless experience that Phoenix Labs has planned for the game. This should go live for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in April, with mobile and Nintendo Switch joining the hunt later this year.
