A challenger appears! In the case of Dauntless, Pangar is its name and it's the fourth behemoth revealed so far in this free-to-play online co-op action RPG. Apparently Pangar uses ice in its tail attacks and part of the body is covered with blade-like armour plate.
One of its attacks is some sort of rolling dive: “It tucked its toothy mouth into its chest and lunged forward in a rolling dive – then just kept rolling right at her. Only training and reflexes allowed Kat to get out of the way in time.” The Pangar is introduced thanks to a sort of tale on the official website, so if you want to learn more about this behemoth and its behavior in battle, this is the way to go.
Dauntless is going to be shown at PAX South, from January 27 to 29 and Pangar will be included in the first public demo of this Monster Hunter-like.
